This practical Masterclass for all those working across the health sector will look at how the NHS will need to change to meet the needs and expectations of citizens over the next 5 years and whether it can do this, what is happening across Europe and beyond that the NHS needs to learn from to reform, how Lord Darzi's ideas can be taken forward in a time of resource and financial cuts across the public services, as the focus of health and health improvement shifts from the hospital to community services and individual behaviour what will be the future role of the NHS, and how the private sector can develop effectively alongside the NHS without increasing conflict.
